Eleventh Edition

  1. Review the Reference to Changes Documents which outlines all the updates made for Eleventh Edition. Please note, this document is meant to be viewed online. Do not attempt to print the document as a whole (964 pages), but rather print individual topics as required. Bookmarks on the left-hand side will facilitate navigation through the document.

  2. Review the tutorials which cover the major change areas for Eleventh Edition. Watch the tutorial covering major updates.  The topics are provided in below file formats:
    • MP4 video files
    • Downloadable zip/rar files (which contain less MB) which can be viewed as html files (with speech).  Once the zip folder has been downloaded and extracted, open the folder Storyline output and then click either on the story.html or story_html5.html file. These files are best viewed in Google Chrome.
    • The PDF files of the slides can also be downloaded.

  3. Complete the Coding Exercises Workbooks which contains exercises related to the major areas of change for Eleventh Edition.  The answers to the exercises are in the back of the workbook

  4. Submission of queries related to the Eleventh Edition updates to ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS have now closed. While individual responses are not provided, these questions are used to inform the answers to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

  5. The challenge quiz is made up of 5 questions based on the major change areas for Eleventh Edition and requires a 100% pass mark to receive a participation certificate. The challenge quiz is now closed, however access to the education material can still be accessed via the IHPA website.
